What 40% off the fee is worth
The discount comes off the transfer fee, not the amount you send. "Up to 40%" means some transfers may get less. At the full 40%:

Check the exchange rate too
On a large transfer, a small difference in the exchange rate can cost more than the whole fee. Before you send, compare how much the recipient gets in their currency, not just the fee. If another provider gives a better amount at the other end, the fee discount doesn't make up for it.
