Before you buy, check with Savooh.
Savooh answers one question: am I paying too much for this, right now, at this store? Paste a product link and it checks the coupon the store honours, the price, and, where we have enough history, whether this is a good time to buy. It was built in Arabic first, then English, for shoppers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Kuwait.
What the site does
Paste a product link and we run three checks: the coupon that applies at that store, the price, and a Price Outlook where we have enough regional history to say something useful about timing. The coupon check is manual. A code is tested in a real cart before it goes live, carries the date it was last checked, and comes down when it stops working. The timing check is newer and has two parts. The Price-Drop Calendar is Savooh's own editorial estimate from known regional sale seasons. The Price Outlook is your market's official price figure (GASTAT in Saudi Arabia, CAPMAS in Egypt, the central bank's published forecast in the UAE), shown with the page it was read from and the day we read it. Neither is a forecast computed from live store prices, because we do not have that data yet.
How Savooh pays for itself
Affiliate commission. You click through to a store and buy something, and the store may pay us a cut. Your price is the same either way; the commission comes out of the retailer's margin. That is Savooh's only revenue, and it gets its own section here because a site that tells you whether to buy has more to answer for than one that lists codes. Stores do not pay for listings or placement, and a store that sends us nothing is ranked the same as one that does.
What we don't do
Nothing on the site needs an account. We do not sell personal data or publish codes we have not tested. The Price Outlook is a national figure and says so: it names its publisher, its month and the day we read it, and if there is no published figure for your market the card does not appear. How codes get checked
Each code is tested before publishing and stamped with the date of that test. We don't print "verified today" on something we last touched in March. The step-by-step is on the How We Verify page.
Editorial standards
Rankings and guides are not for sale, and commission does not buy a better position. The full version is in the Editorial Policy.
Who's behind it
Savooh is independently run. No retailer, network or agency owns it. Articles are published under a named author (our editors are Abdulaziz Hafez, Ahmed Al-Sobhi and Zeinab Hassanein) and the same people check the coupons. If something we published is wrong, the person who wrote it fixes it.
