Price Outlook

+2.3%official forecast for consumer prices this year in UAE

Source: Central Bank of the UAE, Quarterly Economic Review (June 2026) · 2026 · read 7 August 2026

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 2.3% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

This is the official price index for the whole market. Individual products move faster or slower than the index, and a sale beats the index either way.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of Huawei

Reviewed by Savooh's editors · Last verified 6 days ago

Huawei is the Chinese electronics maker Ren Zhengfei founded in Shenzhen in 1987. Its official online stores in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt sell phones, watches, tablets, laptops and earbuds, each with its own delivery and return rules.

1
Each country's Huawei Store has its own rules
Huawei's official stores in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt set their own return windows, delivery thresholds and codes. Egypt gives 14 days to decide on an unopened order, the UAE and Saudi Arabia give 7.
2
Keep it sealed if you might return it
A change-of-mind return only works on unopened products in their original packaging, with all accessories. Opening the box ends that option, even inside the return window.
3
Check your apps before buying a Huawei phone
Huawei phones sold since 2019 don't come with Google services, so apps come from Huawei's AppGallery. Check that the apps you rely on are available there before you buy. Huawei watches and earbuds work with Android phones and iPhones through the Huawei Health app.

About Huawei : the full picture

Ren Zhengfei founded Huawei in Shenzhen in 1987, selling telephone switching equipment. It grew into one of the world's largest telecom equipment makers, and from 2011 it built a consumer business selling phones, tablets and wearables under its own name.

Since 2019, US restrictions have kept Google services off new Huawei phones, which run Huawei's own AppGallery and, in newer models, HarmonyOS. Its watches, earbuds and tablets remain popular in the Gulf and Egypt. Huawei runs official online stores for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and each one sets its own delivery fees, return windows and codes.

Shopping Tips

Before you buy at Huawei.

What our editors do before they buy from this store.

01
AEX31 skips flash-sale items
AEX31 takes 10% off for every customer, but it doesn't work on flash-sale items or some selected products. If an item doesn't show the 10% at checkout, the code doesn't cover it.
02
AED 200 clears the delivery fee
Orders over AED 200 ship free, and smaller orders pay AED 10. Orders usually ship within 1 to 2 working days with Sinotrans, Monday to Friday.
03
7 days to decide, with a free pickup
Unopened products can be returned within 7 days of delivery, then shipped back within 7 more days using Huawei's free pickup label. The refund doesn't include the delivery fee.
04
Faults get a separate route
If a product is faulty, you can ask for a refund or replacement at a Huawei service centre within 7 days. After that, repairs go through the warranty.
05
Check your apps before buying a Huawei phone
Huawei phones sold since 2019 don't come with Google services, so apps come from Huawei's AppGallery. Check that the apps you rely on are available there before you buy. Huawei watches and earbuds work with Android phones and iPhones through the Huawei Health app.
06
Points add about 1% back
Huawei Store members earn 100 points per AED 1 spent, worth AED 1 per 100 points, so about 1% back. Points can cover up to 30% of an order, and don't apply to flash sales.

  3. 3
    Pay and track
Pay at checkout and track the order by email once it leaves the warehouse.
  4. 4
    Keep the box sealed
Leave the box unopened until you're sure, since change-of-mind returns need it sealed within 7 days.
