Price Outlook

+2.3%official forecast for consumer prices this year in UAE

Source: Central Bank of the UAE, Quarterly Economic Review (June 2026) · 2026 · read 7 August 2026

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 2.3% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

This is the official price index for the whole market. Individual products move faster or slower than the index, and a sale beats the index either way.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of The Deal Outlet

Reviewed by Savooh's editors · Last verified 16 days ago

The Deal is the off-price store of Chalhoub Group, the Dubai-based luxury retailer founded in 1955, selling past-season pieces from brands such as Gucci, Versace, Lacoste, Tory Burch and Michael Kors.

1
Outlet stock from the brands' regional distributor
The Deal is Chalhoub Group's own off-price store. Chalhoub distributes the brands it sells across the Gulf, so the stock is past-season and surplus product from the same supply as its full-price stores.
2
Some items are final sale from the start
Lingerie, swimwear and earrings can't be returned for hygiene reasons, and beauty or haircare products can't be returned once opened. Items marked LAST CHANCE are final sale.
3
Free returns, but the delivery fee stays paid
Returns are free within 14 days in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, collected by courier after you request them by phone, WhatsApp or your account. The original delivery charge isn't refunded.

About The Deal Outlet : the full picture

Chalhoub Group began in Damascus in 1955, when Michel and Widad Chalhoub opened a Christofle boutique. It moved its headquarters to Dubai in 1990 and now works with more than 300 international brands across 14 countries.

Every distributor ends up with past-season and surplus stock that no longer fits the full-price shelf. The Deal is where Chalhoub sells it, online in the UAE and Saudi Arabia and in its own outlet stores. Code DZ42 takes a further 10% off online orders in both markets.

Shopping Tips

Before you buy at The Deal Outlet.

What our editors do before they buy from this store.

01
DZ42 works for every customer
DZ42 is open to all customers, new or returning, in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Enter it at checkout and check that 10% appears on the discount line before paying.
02
Underwear, swimwear and opened beauty are final sale
Lingerie, swimwear and earrings can't be returned for hygiene reasons, and beauty, skincare and haircare products can't be returned once opened.
03
LAST CHANCE items can't be returned
Pieces marked LAST CHANCE can't be returned, even within the 14 days. Be sure of the size before buying one.

Returns have to go back in the thedealoutlet.com packaging the order arrived in, with tags attached. Keep the bag and box until you're sure.
06
Let a Savooh alert watch for new codes
Outlet stock changes as past-season pieces arrive and popular sizes sell out. A Savooh alert tells you when a new code is listed here.
