Price Outlook

+2.3%official forecast for consumer prices this year in UAE

Source: Central Bank of the UAE, Quarterly Economic Review (June 2026) · 2026 · read 7 August 2026

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 2.3% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

This is the official price index for the whole market. Individual products move faster or slower than the index, and a sale beats the index either way.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of DKNY

Reviewed by Savooh's editors

DKNY is the New York label Donna Karan launched in 1989, now owned by G-III Apparel Group. In the Gulf, its online stores for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are run by Alyasra Fashion, a Kuwaiti retailer founded in 1993.

Refund rules differ by country

DKNY's Gulf stores share an operator but not one refund rule. The UAE store refunds returns as a store credit note, while the Saudi and Kuwait stores refund card payments to your card.

Return in store to skip the courier fee

All three stores charge for a courier to collect a return and charge double for an exchange. Taking the item to a DKNY store with your printed order confirmation avoids that fee.

Keep the boxes and guarantee cards

Returns must be unworn, with the original boxes, instructions and guarantee cards. Earrings can't be returned or exchanged unless they're faulty.

About DKNY : the full picture

Donna Karan launched DKNY in New York in 1989 as a younger, lower-priced line beside her Donna Karan New York collection. LVMH bought Donna Karan International in 2001, and G-III Apparel Group bought it from LVMH in a deal announced in July 2016 and completed that December.

In the Gulf, DKNY is sold through Alyasra Fashion, which Ahmed and Mohamed Y. Al Sager founded in Kuwait in 1993. Alyasra runs dkny.ae, dkny.sa and dkny.com.kw, which sell DKNY bags, shoes, watches, sunglasses and women's clothing. The three sites share a support desk, but delivery thresholds and refund rules differ by country.

Shopping Tips

Before you buy at DKNY.

What our editors do before they buy from this store.

Refunds come back as store credit

Returns at DKNY UAE are refunded as a credit note to spend at DKNY, with no money back to your card. Be sure of the size and colour before you order.

AED 370 clears the delivery fee

Orders under AED 370 pay AED 15 for delivery. Most DKNY bags on dkny.ae cost more than that, with a median price around AED 650.

Return in store to skip the pickup fee

A courier pickup costs AED 15 for a return and AED 30 for an exchange. Taking the item to a DKNY store with your printed order confirmation avoids that fee.

Keep the boxes and guarantee cards

Items must be unworn, with the original boxes, instructions and guarantee cards. Earrings can't be returned or exchanged unless they're faulty.

Check the sale section first

Close to a third of the bags listed on dkny.ae were marked down when we checked in October 2026. Look there before paying full price.

Alert the sale seasons

Dubai Shopping Festival in January and White Friday in November are the UAE's main sale seasons. A Savooh alert tells you when a DKNY code is listed here.
