Price Outlook

+2.3%official forecast for consumer prices this year in UAE

Source: Central Bank of the UAE, Quarterly Economic Review (June 2026) · 2026 · read 7 August 2026

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 2.3% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

This is the official price index for the whole market. Individual products move faster or slower than the index, and a sale beats the index either way.

Best time to buy

IGP's busiest weeks in the UAE follow gifting dates. Our DataForSEO keyword data shows UAE searches for IGP peaking in February, around Valentine's Day, and in August, around Raksha Bandhan, when brand searches reached more than twice their usual monthly level in 2026. Same-day and midnight slots fill first in those weeks, so book the delivery date early. We have no record of IGP cutting prices on a fixed calendar, so treat these dates as timing advice and check any code on the day.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of IGP

Reviewed by the Savooh Deals Team · Last verified Today

IGP's UAE site sells flowers, cakes, hampers and personalised gifts out of a warehouse in Al Quoz, Dubai, and most of the money you can save or lose on it sits in the delivery slot and the complaint window.

Switch the price display to dirhams first

The site sets its currency from where you are browsing, and a visitor outside the UAE sees USD by default. Pick AED from the currency menu so the prices match what IGP charges a UAE card and line up with other UAE gift shops.

The precise slots are the paid ones

Standard delivery runs in time windows through the day with no surcharge shown on the product page. A fixed one-hour slot adds 15 AED and the 11pm to midnight slot adds 30 AED.

Perishables get one delivery attempt

IGP's terms say flowers, cakes and other perishables are attempted once. If the recipient is out, the address is wrong or the gift is refused, the order is still charged and not refunded.

About IGP : the full picture

IGP began in India as an online gift portal and runs a separate storefront for the UAE at ae.igp.com. The UAE site is operated by Join Ventures General Trading LLC from a warehouse on Umm Suqeim Street in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, and it delivers to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain. Much of the traffic comes from people abroad sending a gift into the UAE, which is why the site shows prices in 10 currencies and quotes USD to anyone browsing from outside the country.

The catalogue covers flower bouquets, cream cakes, chocolate and gourmet hampers, balloons, plants and personalised items such as photo frames and mugs. After you add a gift to the cart, IGP offers add-ons: cake slices from 15 AED, greeting cards at 15 AED and balloon sets from 15 AED. There is also an "IGP Now" range for 60-minute delivery, which listed 169 items when we checked.

Delivery pricing is where the order total moves. Standard slots showed no extra charge on the product page, a fixed one-hour slot adds 15 AED, and midnight delivery between 11pm and midnight adds 30 AED. Returns depend on how the item travels. Hand-delivered flowers and cakes cannot be returned, and a complaint about them has to reach IGP within 48 hours with a photo. Couriered items have a 10-day window, and a change-of-mind refund on those comes back as an IGP voucher valid for 12 months.

Shopping Tips

Save smarter at IGP.

What our editors do before they buy from this store.

Set the currency to AED before comparing

The currency menu offers 10 options, including AED, SAR and INR, and it defaults to USD for anyone browsing from outside the UAE. Switch to dirhams so a 190 AED bouquet reads as 190 AED and you can compare it with other UAE florists line by line.

Standard slots are the no-surcharge option

On the day we checked, standard delivery in Dubai Marina ran in windows from 7am to 11am through to 9pm to 1am, with no surcharge shown on the product page. A fixed one-hour slot adds 15 AED and the 11pm to midnight slot adds 30 AED.

Enter the delivery area before judging availability

Delivery dates, slots and the store pickup option only appear after you type the recipient's area into the box on the product page. Check the area first, because the same-day label depends on it.

Make sure someone is home for flowers and cakes

IGP attempts perishable deliveries once. A wrong address, a locked door or a refused gift still counts as delivered for billing, and the terms rule out a refund on those orders.

Photograph the gift and report problems within 48 hours

Complaints about hand-delivered flowers and cakes are accepted for 48 hours and need a photo. Couriered items have 10 days, and a change-of-mind refund on those arrives as an IGP voucher valid for 12 months. Personalised items cannot be returned.

Set an alert before February and August

UAE searches for IGP peak around Valentine's Day and Raksha Bandhan. An alert tells you as soon as a working IGP code is listed on Savooh, so you can order before the popular slots fill.

How to use a code

Redeeming a code at IGP.

Where the promo field is in this checkout, and what voids a code here.

1
Pick the gift and enter the recipient's area
Open the product page and type the delivery area into the location box, then press Check. IGP only shows dates, delivery types and the store pickup option once it knows where the gift is going.
2
Choose the date, delivery type and time slot
Standard delivery has no surcharge shown on the product page. Fixed time adds 15 AED for a one-hour slot and midnight adds 30 AED for 11pm to midnight, so pick the cheapest one that still meets your deadline.
3
Skip the add-ons panel unless you want extras
Pressing Add to Cart opens a panel of cake slices, cards, balloons and small gifts, starting at 15 AED. Press Continue Without Addons to go straight to the cart.
4
Apply the code and check the total in AED
Enter the code during checkout and confirm the total is shown in dirhams. IGP takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and offers Tabby in 4 payments or Tamara in 3.
5
Keep a photo of the delivered gift
Every IGP complaint needs an image of the product. For flowers and cakes the window is 48 hours, so photograph the gift when it arrives.
