How does IGP delivery work in Dubai?
IGP delivers flowers, cakes, hampers and personalised gifts across the UAE from a warehouse in Al Quoz, Dubai. Standard delivery runs in time windows through the day with no surcharge shown on the product page, a fixed one-hour slot adds 15 AED, and the 11pm to midnight slot adds 30 AED. Flowers and cakes get one delivery attempt, cannot be returned, and any complaint has to reach IGP within 48 hours with a photo.
These details come from IGP's UAE site, ae.igp.com, as recorded on our IGP UAE store page. Prices and slots change by area and date, so check them on the product page before you pay.
Where IGP delivers in the UAE
The UAE site is operated by Join Ventures General Trading LLC from Warehouse No. 10, Umm Suqeim Street, Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai. It delivers to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain. IGP began in India as an online gift portal, and the UAE storefront is separate from its other sites.
Delivery dates, slots and the store pickup option only appear after you type the recipient's area into the box on the product page. The same-day label depends on that area, so enter it before you decide whether a gift can arrive today.
Delivery slots and what they cost
| Option | Extra charge | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Standard time window | No surcharge shown on the product page | The gift needs to arrive on a day, not at a minute |
| Fixed one-hour slot | 15 AED | The recipient is only home or at the office for a short time |
| 11pm to midnight slot | 30 AED | A gift timed for the start of a birthday or anniversary |
| IGP Now range | Sold for 60-minute delivery | A rush order; 169 items listed when we checked |
On the day we checked, standard delivery to Dubai Marina ran in windows from 7am to 11am through to 9pm to 1am. If a gift only needs to arrive on the right day, a standard window is the no-surcharge option, and a late window already covers most evening surprises.
After you add a gift, IGP offers add-ons such as cake slices from 15 AED, a greeting card at 15 AED and balloon sets from 15 AED. They add up quickly next to a 15 AED slot fee.
The one-attempt rule for flowers and cakes
IGP's terms say flowers, cakes and other perishables get one delivery attempt. If the recipient is out, the address is wrong, the door is locked or the gift is refused, the order is marked as attempted. IGP does not redeliver it and does not refund it.
This rule carries more financial risk than any slot fee. Before you pay:
- Check the building name, flat number and a phone number that the recipient will answer.
- For an office delivery, check the reception hours and whether the building accepts deliveries for staff.
- If it is a surprise, ask someone who lives or works with the recipient to be there.
- Pick a fixed slot when the recipient is only available for a short time; the 15 AED is less than losing the whole order.
Returns and complaints
How you can complain or return depends on how the item travels.
Hand-delivered flowers and cakes
These cannot be returned. If they arrive damaged, wrong, missing or in poor condition, contact IGP within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. IGP then offers a replacement, a refund or a voucher valid for 12 months.
Couriered items
Items sent by courier have a 10-day window. A change-of-mind refund on those comes back as an IGP voucher valid for 12 months.
Personalised gifts
Items made with a name or photo, such as frames and mugs, cannot be returned.
Ask the recipient to photograph the gift when it arrives, especially a cake. The 48-hour window is short, and the photo is what IGP asks for. Contact IGP by WhatsApp on +971 4 204 9433 or by email at help@igp.com, as listed on its contact page.
IGP compared with FNP on delivery and returns
FNP is the other large gift site many UAE shoppers compare with IGP. Here are the figures on our IGP store page, from both sites when we checked.
| IGP | FNP | |
|---|---|---|

| Late-night delivery | 30 AED extra, 11pm to midnight | 99 AED, 9pm order cut-off |
| Flowers and cakes | No returns, complaints within 48 hours | Wrong or defective item only |
| Non-perishable change of mind | IGP voucher within 10 days, valid 12 months | Not offered |
| Pay later | Tabby and Tamara | Not checked |
Paying less on an IGP order
Set the site currency to AED first; anyone browsing from outside the UAE sees USD by default. Then use code TKFL22, which takes 15% off orders on ae.igp.com for all customers; its terms are on our IGP UAE page. The product page shows Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tabby in 4 interest-free payments and Tamara in 3. You can go straight to the store at ae.igp.com.
UAE searches for IGP peak around Valentine's Day in February and Raksha Bandhan in August, and same-day and late slots fill first in those weeks. The UAE deal calendar lists the dates we track.
