What to write down when a device fails
A repair goes faster when the showroom knows what happened. We have not found a warranty route for UAE customers in the policy. The UAE storefront does not sell large appliances, and its one showroom is in Al Mamzar, Sharjah. If you buy a Home Elec device in the UAE, ask customer service where repairs are handled before you order.
Warranty or return: which applies
A fault in the first week and a fault after a year are handled differently.
- Within 7 days, you can return an item that is unused and in its original packaging with the manufacturer's seals intact. A change-of-mind return by courier has the shipping cost deducted from the refund, and a showroom return avoids that.
- Once the seal is open or the 7 days have passed, a fault becomes a warranty case. For Home Elec, that means a repair at a Saudi showroom.
The return policy page mentions 14 days in one line, but the product page badge and the time-limit section both say 7. Plan on 7. Card refunds take 7 to 14 working days after the item is received, and Tabby or Tamara orders go back to the instalment account.
Before you buy a Home Elec appliance
- Compare the final price, not the percentage. On 30 September 2026, Saudi markdowns at Qasr Alawani ran from 10% to 62%. A big percentage on one model does not make it cheaper than another model with a smaller markdown.
- Check which showroom has stock. Product pages show it, and pickup avoids the delivery fee on orders under 499 SAR.
