How do Clarks sizes work in the UAE?
Clarks UAE lists shoes in Clarks UK sizes, with EU equivalents and foot length in millimetres, and most styles also come in a width fitting. Measure your longer foot in millimetres, find that length in the fit guide, then pick the width. The guide on clarksstores.ae does not list US sizes, so convert from UK or EU.
Getting this right matters more than usual at Clarks UAE, because online orders cannot be exchanged. A wrong size means a return and a new order.
What the Clarks UAE fit guide covers
The fit guide on clarksstores.ae (checked 11 October 2026) has separate tables for women, men and children. Each row gives the Clarks UK size, the Clarks EU size, the standard EU size and the foot length in millimetres.
- Women: UK 2 to UK 9, for feet from 212 mm to 272 mm.
- Men: UK 5 to UK 15, for feet from 237 mm to 323 mm.
- Children: separate toddler and kids tables, with in-store fitting and a measure-at-home option.
- Half sizes: listed across all three tables, such as women's UK 2½ and men's UK 5½.
Some reference points from the guide: women's UK 5 is EU 38 for a 237 mm foot, and men's UK 9 is EU 43 for a 272 mm foot. Clarks EU and standard EU can differ by half a size at the small end, so use millimetres when in doubt.
Width fittings: what the letters mean
Clarks uses letters for width, and the letters mean different things for men, women and children:

The same letter changes meaning by range. A G is standard for a man and wide for a child, and an E is wide for a woman and narrow for a child. When you shop for someone else, check which table you are reading.
How to measure your foot at home
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Stand on a flat surface with your heel against a straight edge, such as a wall.
- Place a ruler beside your foot, touching the same edge.
- Measure in millimetres from your heel to the tip of your longest toe. That may not be your big toe.
Measure in the afternoon if you can, and wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes. Then match the millimetres to the table. If you fall between two sizes, the half size is usually in the table too.
If the pair does not fit: the return route
The Clarks UAE returns policy (checked 11 October 2026) sets these rules for online orders:
- Request the return within 14 days of purchase, through the contact form.
- Send photos of the shoes from all angles and your invoice.
- Shoes must be unused, in the original box, with all tags and labels.
- Clarks' approved courier collects them free, usually within 3 working days.
- The refund goes to your original payment method once the shoes pass inspection.
- No exchanges online, and no returns of online orders in Clarks shops.
So try shoes on indoors, on a clean floor, and keep the box and tags until you are sure. Shoes worn outside will likely fail the inspection and come back to you.
Delivery takes up to 3 working days by OCS, according to the shipping policy. A size swap therefore means waiting for collection, then for the new order: plan for a week or more if you need the shoes by a date.
Buying for children
Children's feet change fast, and Clarks offers fitting in its UAE stores and a measure-at-home guide on the site. For a first pair or a school shoe, a store fitting is the safer route. Remember that a pair bought online cannot be swapped in that store.
