Is there a working AliExpress code for Saudi Arabia or the UAE right now?
Not on Savooh as of 11 October 2026. The four Gulf codes we listed this autumn have all ended: GCC18 and GCC19 ran from 23 to 28 September 2026, and GCC340 and GCC175 ended on 7 October 2026. Until AliExpress issues new platform codes, the savings available to you are seller coupons, coins and the platform's own sale events, the largest of which, 11.11, falls in the second week of November.
The expired codes are still useful as a guide. They show the size of order AliExpress asks for before it gives a fixed discount, which tells you how to plan a basket for the next campaign.
What the autumn codes asked for
| Code | Discount | Minimum order | Share of the minimum | Ran | Countries |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GCC18 | SAR 270 | More than SAR 2,230 | About 12% | 23 to 28 September 2026 | Saudi Arabia, UAE |
| GCC19 | SAR 300 | More than SAR 2,500 | 12% | 23 to 28 September 2026 | Saudi Arabia, UAE |
| GCC175 | SAR 175 | SAR 1,400 | 12.5% | 30 September to 7 October 2026 | Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait |
| GCC340 | SAR 340 | SAR 2,500 | 13.6% | 30 September to 7 October 2026 | Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait |
All four applied to selected products only, and the amounts were set in Saudi riyals, with UAE and Kuwait shoppers told to check the AED or KWD equivalent at checkout. Two patterns stand out. The minimum orders were high, from SAR 1,400 upwards, and the effective discount at the minimum sat between 12% and 13.6%. Going past the minimum lowers that percentage, because the discount is fixed.
So a platform code in this format suits one planned large purchase, such as a phone, a robot vacuum or a batch of household items. It does little for a SAR 200 basket.
The three kinds of AliExpress discount
AliExpress discounts come from different sources, and they behave differently at checkout:
- Seller coupons are funded by one store on the marketplace. They only apply to that store's items, so a cart mixing several sellers gets less than the headline suggests.
- Platform codes, such as the GCC codes above, are funded by AliExpress and entered at checkout. They usually cover selected products and need a minimum order.
- Coins convert into a further discount on eligible items.
Because the three come from different places, they can often apply together, in sequence. Watch the order total after each one: if adding a platform code removes a seller coupon, keep whichever leaves the lower total.
When AliExpress cuts prices
AliExpress runs on its own sale calendar. The 11.11 Global Shopping Festival in the second week of November is the largest event of its year. The anniversary sale falls around 28 March, the date the platform launched in 2010, and a mid-year sale runs in June. Choice Day repeats in the first days of most months on the Choice catalogue.
Regional seasons such as White Friday or Ramadan move local retailers more than they move a listing shipped from China. For AliExpress, the dates that count are the platform's own. We add confirmed dates to the deal calendar once AliExpress announces them.
How to prepare for 11.11
- Add the items you want to your cart or wishlist now and note today's price. A sale price only means something against the price before the sale.
- Check the store behind each listing: its rating, its order count and the reviews from the last month. Recent reviews describe the item you would receive now.
- Group items from the same seller where you can, so a seller coupon reaches more of your basket.
- Check the Savooh AliExpress Saudi Arabia page or the UAE page when the sale opens. New codes are listed there with their minimum order and end date.
- At checkout, read the order summary line by line before you pay.
Count the landed price, not the sticker
Saudi Arabia charges 15% VAT on goods imported through e-commerce, and duty can apply by product category above the customs threshold. Some listings include tax in the checkout total and others leave it to be collected on arrival. Before you compare an AliExpress price with noon or Amazon, make sure both numbers include tax and delivery. The Savooh noon and Amazon pages list their current offers, and Product Check shows what we know about a product link.
Also count what you give up. A local retailer offers a counter return and a local warranty route. On AliExpress, Buyer Protection, which we read on 11 October 2026, covers an item that does not match its description or arrives damaged within 15 days of receipt, and an item that does not arrive within the guaranteed delivery window. A change-of-mind return is at your cost unless the listing offers free returns.
Kuwait and Egypt
Kuwait was covered by GCC175 and GCC340, and Savooh has an AliExpress Kuwait page. In Egypt we have not listed any AliExpress code this year; the AliExpress Egypt page will carry one if we confirm it.
Going to AliExpress
To shop, use AliExpress Saudi Arabia or AliExpress UAE. Savooh may earn a commission if you buy through this link; your price is the same. How we review codes before listing them is on How we verify.
Questions shoppers ask
Do GCC340 and GCC175 still work?
No. Both ran from 30 September to 7 October 2026, and GCC18 and GCC19 ended on 28 September 2026.
Why did my AliExpress coupon not apply?
Most coupons belong to one seller, so they do not reach other sellers' items in the same cart. Platform codes also need eligible products and a minimum order.
When is the AliExpress 11.11 sale?
In the second week of November. It is the largest event in AliExpress's calendar.
Do AliExpress coupons and coins stack?
Often, because seller coupons, platform codes and coins are funded from different places. Check the order total after adding each one.
Do I pay VAT on AliExpress orders in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, 15% VAT applies to goods imported through e-commerce, and some categories carry duty above the customs threshold.
