Noon's first-order discount in Saudi Arabia and the UAE comes through code JRW: a new account gets 10% off, capped at 50 SAR or 50 AED, and the cap rises to 100 on toys. After the first order the same code keeps working at 5%, capped at 10 SAR or AED, or 50 on toys. Noon Egypt has no code in our data, so JRW is for the Saudi and UAE storefronts only.
The cap is what decides how much you save. Below is the basket size at which each tier stops growing, the reasons JRW gets refused, and what else you can do to lower a Noon order.
What JRW gives you, tier by tier
| Who you are | What you buy | Discount | Maximum saving | Basket where the cap is reached |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| New user | Most items | 10% | 50 SAR / AED | 500 SAR / AED |
| New user | Toys | 10% | 100 SAR / AED | 1,000 SAR / AED |
| Existing user | Most items | 5% | 10 SAR / AED | 200 SAR / AED |
| Existing user | Toys | 5% | 50 SAR / AED | 1,000 SAR / AED |
The discount is applied in the currency of the storefront, so the Saudi cap is 50 SAR and the UAE cap is 50 AED. No minimum order is set in the code's terms. Noon's terms also say eligibility may vary by account and order, so the figure at checkout is the one that counts. We last checked JRW on 30 September 2026. The live status for each market is on the Noon Saudi Arabia and Noon UAE pages.
How to size your first Noon order
A new account gets the 10% tier once. After that you are on 5% with a cap of 10, which is a small saving on most baskets. So the first order is the one to plan:
- Aim for about 500 SAR or AED if you are buying general items. Below that you get less than the full 50. Above it, every extra riyal or dirham is paid at full price.
- Put the toys in the first order if you were going to buy them anyway. The toys tier pays up to 100, which takes a 1,000 basket to reach.
- Do not split a planned purchase into two orders to get two discounts. The second order falls to 5% with a cap of 10.
Example: a new user buying 400 SAR of household items saves 40 SAR. The same user adding a 100 SAR item to the same cart saves 50 SAR, so the extra item costs 90 SAR. On a 700 SAR cart the saving stays at 50 SAR, which works out at about 7%.
How to apply JRW
- Open the Noon storefront for your country: noon.com Saudi Arabia or noon.com UAE.
- Add your items and go to checkout.
- Type JRW in the coupon field and apply it.
- Check that the discount line matches your tier before you pay.
Why JRW gets refused
- Wrong storefront. Noon runs a separate shop in each country. JRW is set up for Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and a code is refused outside the shop it belongs to. Noon Egypt has no listed code at the moment, see Noon Egypt.
- Another code is already applied. Noon accepts one promo code per order.
- You are in Noon Food or Noon Minutes. Those apps run their own codes, separate from the noon.com marketplace.
- The account has ordered before. The code still works, but at 5% with a cap of 10, which can look like a failure if you were expecting 10%.
- The item is excluded from promotions. Noon's promotions help page says limits and exclusions are shown in each offer's details (checked 11 October 2026).
What happens if you return part of the order
Noon's promotions page says promotional discounts are not refundable, so returning an item bought with JRW gets you a partial refund based on what you paid for it. If you plan to order several sizes and send most back, the discount spread across the cart will shrink your refund on the returned pieces. Refunds for card payments go back to the card, and cash on delivery orders are refunded as noon Credits, which Noon says can be transferred to a bank.
What else lowers a Noon order
- Pay by card or Apple Pay. Cash on delivery costs 18 SAR at Noon Saudi Arabia and 12 AED at Noon UAE, per Noon's help centre (checked 6 August 2026). On a small basket that fee can be larger than the existing-user discount.
- Check your bank app. Mada, card-issuer and wallet offers are run by the bank. Noon's promotions page says most offers cannot be combined unless their terms allow it, so read the bank offer's terms before counting on both.
- Tabby and Tamara appear at Noon Saudi Arabia checkout. Apply JRW first, then pick the instalment plan, so the split runs on the discounted total. Instalments do not reduce the price.
- Look at who sells the item. Noon delivers in 1 to 3 days on stock it fulfils itself; marketplace sellers set their own delivery and return terms, shown under the price.
When Noon discounts more than JRW
Noon's deepest sale is Yellow Friday in late November, its name for the November sale week. The UAE adds National Day on 2 December and Dubai Shopping Festival from late December into January. In Saudi Arabia, Founding Day on 22 February and National Day on 23 September bring their own campaigns. During a sale, the reduction already on the item can be larger than JRW's cap, so compare both totals at checkout. The deal calendar lists the dates, and the product check shows whether today's price is worth paying. If the item is also on Amazon, the Amazon Saudi Arabia page lists its current codes for comparison.
