Which Kipling backpack should you buy in the UAE?
Pick by what goes inside it. Kipling UAE names its backpacks by the device compartment: the SEOUL S models have tablet protection, while the SEOUL, SEOUL LAP, SEOUL COLLEGE EXTRA and CLASS ROOM models have a laptop compartment. On 11 October 2026 the backpacks on kipling.co.ae were selling at about half their original price, from AED 149 to AED 364 on the first page of the collection.
This guide goes through the ranges on the UAE store, what they cost that day, how to care for the fabric, and what to know about delivery and returns before you buy. For the store's current code, see our Kipling UAE page.
Who sells Kipling in the UAE
Kipling started in Antwerp in 1987, when three designers found crinkle nylon, a light, water-resistant fabric, while experimenting with dyeing a 1930s textile. The brand is part of the VF Group. Its furry monkey keychain comes from The Jungle Book, and each monkey in a colour family has its own name.
In the UAE, kipling.co.ae is run by the Jashanmal Group and ships from a Dubai warehouse. Online orders can also be returned at Kipling stores in the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain, which matters if a backpack turns out to be the wrong size.
The backpack ranges and what they cost
We read the first page of the backpacks collection on kipling.co.ae on 11 October 2026. It listed 176 backpacks in total. The table groups the models on that page by range. Prices move with stock, so check the product page on the day.
| Range | What the product name says | Sale price (AED) | Original price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|
| SEOUL S | Small backpack with tablet compartment or tablet protection | 224 to 239 | 449 to 479 |
| SEOUL | Large backpack with padded laptop compartment | 249 | 499 |
| SEOUL LAP | Large backpack with separate laptop compartment | 249 to 274 | 499 to 549 |
| SEOUL COLLEGE EXTRA | Extra large backpack with separate laptop compartment | 324 | 649 |
| CLASS ROOM | Large backpack with laptop protection | 349 to 364 | 699 to 729 |
| BUDDY | Medium backpack with laptop compartment | 224 | 449 |
| SUPERTABOO Minions | Medium backpack with drawstring | 149 | 299 |
Within a range the price changes with the print. A CLASS ROOM in Clear Sky Metallic was AED 364 that day, while the same range in Game Grey or Flower Stamp was AED 349. If you like two colours equally, the cheaper print is worth a look.
Tablet or laptop?
The product names tell you the compartment type, but not every listing name gives a laptop size. Before you order a backpack for a laptop, open the product page and check the stated size against your device. A SEOUL S is sold as a small backpack with a tablet compartment, so it is the one to skip if a laptop has to fit.
For school
Kipling backpack searches in the UAE run several times their usual level in August, with back to school. If you buy for a child, check the product page for the bag's size and whether the laptop sleeve is padded. Kipling's naming separates "laptop protection" from a "separate laptop compartment", and the product page is where the difference shows.
Looking after crinkle nylon
Most Kipling bags are crinkle nylon. The care advice on the UAE store is plain:
- Clean the outside with a slightly wet cloth.
- Do not bleach it and do not soak it in water.
- For a deep stain, use a soft brush with water and neutral soap.
- Hang it to dry in the shade.
A school backpack will need this more than once a term, so keep a soft brush at home. Soaking the bag or putting it through a washing machine goes against that advice.
Delivery, payment and returns
Delivery is free on orders above AED 200 in the UAE, and every backpack in the table except the SUPERTABOO clears that line on its own. Delivery takes 2 working days to Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and 3 working days to Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and the other northern emirates, Monday to Saturday. The store takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Tabby; cash on delivery is not listed.
Kipling UAE's return policy (checked 11 October 2026) gives 14 days from delivery, with the original packaging and receipt. A change-of-mind return comes back as credit on a Kipling gift card in your name, and you pay the courier both ways unless the product is faulty. Refunds take 10 to 15 business days after the return reaches the warehouse. Returning at a Kipling store in the UAE, Kuwait or Bahrain, with a copy of the receipt and a valid ID, avoids the courier cost.
For a backpack that arrives faulty or breaks, raise a ticket at support.jashanmalgroup.com with photos of the product and the invoice.
Paying less for a Kipling backpack
The sale price is the main saving at the moment. On top of it, Kipling UAE code NBW5 takes 5% off for all customers; our Kipling UAE page has its terms, and the listing does not say whether it stacks with sale prices, so read the discount line at checkout. You can open the store through this link to kipling.co.ae. Savooh may earn a commission if you buy through this link; your price is the same.
If you find the same backpack on a marketplace for less, the product check tool shows what Savooh knows about that store. The UAE deal calendar lists the sale dates we track, including White Friday in November.
