Do you pay customs on Farfetch orders?
No, if you deliver to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait or Egypt. All four are on Farfetch's duties-included list, so the price at checkout already covers import duties and the courier does not collect anything at the door. Express delivery takes 3 to 7 days once the parcel is sent, and boutiques have up to 2 business days to process the order before that.
The details below come from Farfetch's orders and shipping page and returns page, both checked on 11 October 2026, and from the country pages our editors checked on 9 October 2026.
Duties included: what it means for you
Farfetch sells two ways. For duties-included countries, the price you pay covers import duties. For countries under Delivery At Place (DAP), the checkout price leaves out duties and sales taxes, and you pay them to the courier to release the parcel. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Egypt are all duties-included, so the DAP route does not apply to you.
Two cautions remain. First, the duties-included rule depends on the delivery address, so an order sent to a country outside the list follows that country's rules. Second, Farfetch says it is not responsible for customs clearance delays, and that an order seized or abandoned because of missing customs documents or an unreachable customer may not be refunded. Keep your phone on while the parcel is in transit.
Delivery by country
| Saudi Arabia | UAE | Kuwait | Egypt | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Import duties | Included | Included | Included | Included |
| Charged in | SAR | AED | USD | USD |
| Delivery on a one-item basket (9 Oct 2026) | 65 SAR | 65 AED | 23 USD | 24 USD |
| Express delivery time | 3 to 7 days | 3 to 7 days | 3 to 7 days | 3 to 7 days |
| Free-delivery threshold | None | None | None | None |
| Tamara instalments | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
The delivery fee depends on where each item ships from, so treat the one-item figures as a sample. The 3 to 7 days counts from dispatch; add up to 2 business days for the boutique to process the order. For a date-bound gift, a week and a half is a safer estimate than three days.
Why your order may arrive in pieces
Every Farfetch item is held by a brand or a partner boutique, and they are spread across many countries. An order with items from several sellers can arrive in more than one parcel, on different days, with different tracking numbers. Farfetch emails a tracking number once each parcel is sent, and you can follow it under Orders & Returns.
Couriers listed include DHL, UPS and FedEx. PO Box addresses are not supported, so use a street address. Some deliveries need a signature; if nobody is home, the courier may try again or send the parcel to a collection point, and uncollected parcels are returned to origin.
Returns from the Gulf and Egypt
Returns are free within 30 days of delivery. Start one in Orders & Returns and book a free collection, or take it to a drop-off point. The conditions are strict for luxury goods:
- Items must be unworn and unused, with all tags attached and the original packaging.
- Shoes need the branded box and dust bag, inside a protective box. Do not mark the soles.
- Beauty products must be unopened with seals intact.
- Brand security tags must stay in their original position.
Refunds go back to the original payment method minus the delivery cost. Farfetch says processing can take up to 6 calendar days after the return arrives, and the refund up to 14 days to appear depending on your payment provider. You can choose Farfetch credit instead, valid for 5 years.
One rule matters for people who travel: you must return from the country the order was delivered to. A return sent from another country is at your cost, unless the item was wrong, damaged or faulty.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel from Orders & Returns before the shipping label is printed and get a full refund including delivery. After that, the order goes through the free return route. Made-to-order and customised items can only be cancelled within 48 hours.

Email for all four is customerservice@farfetch.com.
