Diesel sorts its jeans into six fits, Regular, Slim, Relaxed, Bootcut, Skinny and Flare, and names each model with a year and a name, such as 1993 D-Vyl. Each model is described by four things: fit, leg shape, waist height and crotch depth. Choose by those, check the waist and leg length in inches against a pair you own, and use the free 30-day returns in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait if the fit is wrong.
How Diesel describes a pair of jeans
Diesel's men's denim guide and women's denim guide, checked 11 October 2026, list every core model with the same four attributes:
- Fit: the overall shape, from Skinny to Relaxed.
- Leg: skinny, slim, straight, tapered, wide or bootcut.
- Waist: low, mid or high rise.
- Crotch: regular or low. A low crotch hangs lower and reads as baggier.
Each fit also comes in different fabrics: fixed denim with no stretch, comfort stretch and super stretch. The same model in super stretch will feel closer to the body than in fixed denim, so check the fabric line on the product page.

A simple way to read the men's range: if you wear a straight, mid-rise jean today, 1993 D-Vyl is the closest match. If you want room in the thigh without a baggy look, 1980 D-Eeper keeps a straight leg and a regular crotch. The 2001 D-Macro and 1997 D-Enim-M are the baggy styles, with a low waist and a dropped crotch.

For a high-rise straight jean, Diesel's guide points to 1971 D-Sent, with 1981 D-Went as the non-stretch version. Non-stretch denim gives less, so if you are between sizes in those models, the larger waist is the safer pick.
Getting the size right
Diesel jeans are sized by waist and leg length in inches. The most reliable check is a pair of jeans you already own and like: lay them flat, measure across the waistband and down the inside leg, and compare with the size on the product page. Also compare the fit attributes. A 32-inch waist in a low-rise model sits lower on the hip than the same size in a high-rise model, so the two can feel different even at the same number.
If you can, try the model in a store first. Diesel has stores at The Avenues and 360 Mall in Kuwait, and stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia accept returns of online orders. In the UAE, you can also pick an online order up from selected Diesel stores.
Returns if the fit is wrong
Returns are free within 30 days of delivery in all three countries. Per the UAE returns page checked 11 October 2026, items must have their tags attached and be in their original packaging, refunds are processed within 14 days of the return arriving, and you can return to any Diesel store in the country where you bought. Pay by card if you might return: the cash-on-delivery surcharge is not refunded. For a different size, request an exchange from the Orders tab in your account.
