What is Dabdoob's return policy?
Dabdoob gives you 2 weeks to return a product, it has to go back in the packaging it arrived in, and you pay the return shipping even if your order shipped free. Once Dabdoob receives and checks the item, the refund can take up to 14 working days to process. The same rules appear on the Saudi, UAE and Kuwaiti versions of the policy.
Those numbers come from Dabdoob's Saudi return and refund page and its UAE equivalent, both checked on 11 October 2026. The rest of this guide covers what the policy leaves out, and how to order so you are unlikely to need it.
The return rules, country by country
Dabdoob is a Kuwaiti toy store founded in December 2017 and majority owned since June 2022 by Riyadh-based Jadwa Investment, which bought 70%. It runs a separate storefront per country, and each has its own copy of the return policy.

The email address on the policy pages is info@dabdoob.com. The policy asks you to get in touch if you are unhappy, and gives no online return form, so email is the documented starting point.
What the policy does not say
The return page does not list excluded categories. Dabdoob's Saudi terms of use add one: helium balloons are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
The return page also does not say how a refund is paid back. It covers one related case: if Dabdoob cancels an order because a product is out of stock or fails its quality check, an order paid online is refunded once the team confirms it. The UAE version adds that this applies to online payments and not to cash on delivery. If you pay cash and need to return something, ask how the refund will reach you when you email.
Dabdoob says it inspects and packs products carefully, and it also states that it is not responsible for damage that happens in transit. If a toy arrives broken, photograph the box and the item before you open anything further, and email the same day.
What a return costs you
A refund covers the item. The courier fee to send it back is yours, and Dabdoob does not publish a return shipping rate, so the cost depends on the courier you use. On a low-priced toy, that fee can take a large share of what you get back.
The packaging rule matters more with toys than with most products. Children open boxes. If the packaging is torn or thrown away, the item no longer meets the condition the policy sets. For a gift, keep the box sealed until the child is about to open it, and keep the outer shipping box until the 2 weeks have passed.
How to order so you avoid a return
Check the age range. The toy catalogue runs from ride-ons and Funko to slime and baby toys, with age filters from 0 to 2 up to 13 and over. A toy bought for the wrong age is the return most likely to happen in this category, so filter by age before you browse.
Compare by set number. The same licensed character appears in many sets at different piece counts. If a listing elsewhere looks cheaper, check the set number and piece count before deciding Dabdoob is dearer. Our product check helps compare a listing's price before you pay.
Order dated gifts early. Popular sets sell out around Eid and the end of the year. Ordering a week before the peak leaves time for delivery and, if needed, an exchange before the event.
Paying at Dabdoob
When Savooh checked the Saudi storefront, listings showed Tabby and Tamara instalments, and checkout offered cash on delivery alongside cards. Saudi prices include 15% VAT and UAE prices include 5% VAT.
Instalments do not change the return rules. If you return an item bought with Tabby or Tamara, the refund still goes through Dabdoob's process first, so keep your order number and the instalment provider's app open while it is processed.
On delivery, Savooh's earlier check found next-day estimates for Riyadh on Saudi listings. Dabdoob does not publish a free-shipping threshold or a delivery fee on its Saudi policy pages, so the delivery line in your cart is the figure to rely on.
If you are shopping with a code
Dabdoob has three codes listed on Savooh, with different caps and exclusions. Our Dabdoob Saudi Arabia page lists them, with pages for the UAE and Kuwait. A returned item is refunded at what you paid, so a code does not change the return, only the amount that comes back.
