eXtra Discount Codes KSA — October 2026

0 coupons

eXtra, trading since 2003, is one of Saudi Arabia's two dominant first-party electronics chains, competing head to head with Jarir on largely overlapping stock. Neither reliably beats the other on price, so the habit worth building is checking both before a large purchase rather than defaulting to one name.

Price Outlook

Source: General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) · June 2026 · read August 7, 2026

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 1.8% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

This is the official price index for the whole market. Individual products move faster or slower than the index, and a sale beats the index either way.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of eXtra

Reviewed by Savooh's editors

eXtra competes with Jarir on almost identical ground, and the difference that actually matters to your wallet is not the discount code.

1
Extended warranty pricing is negotiable at the till, not online
The extended warranty offered at checkout online is a fixed add-on. In branch, staff sometimes have room to bundle it differently, particularly on a large-ticket item bought alongside accessories. If you are buying in person, ask before you assume the online price is final.
2
Compare the same model at Jarir before you commit
eXtra and Jarir carry substantially overlapping electronics catalogues at similar list prices, and whichever is running a deeper promotion this month is the one to buy from. Neither reliably beats the other, so the comparison is worth doing every time on anything expensive.
3
Loyalty points reduce future purchases, not this one
eXtra runs a points scheme that accrues on spend and redeems against later purchases. It will not lower today's bill, but for a household that buys electronics regularly it is worth tracking rather than ignoring.

About eXtra : the full picture

eXtra opened its first Saudi store in 2003. It grew alongside Jarir into one of the Kingdom's two dominant electronics chains, both first-party retailers with no open marketplace of third-party sellers behind them.

That structure is the main reason to consider either over Amazon.sa or Noon. A single warranty channel. No seller-quality lottery. A branch you can actually walk into when something breaks. Between eXtra and Jarir specifically, the choice mostly comes down to which one has the better active promotion this month and which branch happens to be closer, rather than any structural advantage either holds over the other consistently.

eXtra tends to lean slightly heavier toward mobile phones and gaming. Jarir leans further into books, stationery and office needs alongside its own electronics range. For a purely tech purchase, checking both before buying is the habit that pays off, not loyalty to one name over the other.

Shopping Tips

Before you buy at eXtra.

What our editors do before they buy from this store.

01
Price-check the same model at Jarir before buying
The two chains carry substantially the same electronics catalogue. Whichever has the deeper active promotion this week is the better buy, and that changes month to month, so the check is worth repeating rather than assuming loyalty to one pays off.
02
Ask about warranty bundling in branch
The online extended-warranty price is fixed. In branch, staff occasionally have room to adjust the bundle on a large purchase. Worth asking rather than assuming the online figure is final if you are there in person.
03
Tamara splits, a code cuts
Instalments divide the total without reducing it. Apply any promo code first, then choose a plan on the discounted figure.
04
Back-to-school is the deepest window
August and September bring eXtra's heaviest promotions on laptops and tablets, ahead of White Friday in November for computing specifically.
05
Points do not cut today's bill, but check them anyway
eXtra's loyalty points accrue on every purchase and redeem against a later one, so they will not shrink this order's total. A household that buys electronics more than once a year can build a balance worth tracking rather than ignoring.
06
Let an alert catch back-to-school and White Friday
eXtra's deepest promotions land in two windows: back-to-school across August and September, then White Friday in November. Set a Savooh alert and skip the months between them.

Savooh Answers

What people ask about eXtra coupons

Q
Is eXtra cheaper than Jarir?
Neither reliably beats the other. The two chains carry largely overlapping electronics stock at similar list prices, so the better buy is whichever has the deeper active promotion in a given week. Checking both before a large purchase is the reliable habit, not loyalty to one name.
Q
When does eXtra discount most?
Back-to-school in August and September is the deepest window for laptops and tablets specifically, followed by White Friday in November for computing more broadly.
Q
When do eXtra's offers end?
Most run for a fixed window tied to the campaign, typically a week to ten days, and the countdown is shown on the offer page itself rather than published in advance. Back-to-school in August and September and White Friday in November are the two windows that reliably return each year; everything else is a shorter promotional burst worth checking rather than assuming it still runs.
Q
Can I buy on instalments at eXtra?
Yes, both in branch and online. Tamara runs at checkout on the standard interest-free plans across most categories. Apply any active code first, since the split runs on the discounted total rather than the sticker price.
Q
How long do I have to return to eXtra?
14 days, and its support line runs 07:00 to 23:00 daily on 920004123. Those hours are unusually wide for the market, which matters on electronics because a fault discovered late in the evening does not have to wait until morning to start the clock.

What to check before you use a eXtra code.

Usually the item is already on a promotional price, which most sitewide codes exclude. Otherwise: the code is limited to a category or brand, or the cart is under the stated minimum.

Reviewed before publication and removed once reports say they have stopped working. We do not claim every code is verified live at every moment, because no coupon site can honestly promise that.

Hours vary by branch and shift for Ramadan, when Saudi retail commonly moves to evening opening. The reliable check is the branch's own Google Business listing or the eXtra app, both of which reflect today's actual hours rather than a number that might be wrong for your city.

Closing time varies by branch and shifts further during Ramadan, when Saudi retail moves to evening hours. The branch's own Google Business listing or the eXtra app reflects today's actual closing time rather than a single number that might not hold for your city.

eXtra is the trading name of United Electronics Company, a Saudi-listed retailer that opened its first store in 2003. It operates as a first-party chain rather than an open marketplace, the same structure Jarir uses, which is why both can offer one warranty channel instead of a seller-by-seller one.

Tamara is available at checkout, in branch and online, on interest-free plans across most categories. Apply any active promo code before choosing the instalment plan, since the split runs on the discounted total rather than the price on the shelf.
