VogaCloset launched in 2013 as a UK-registered online fashion platform built specifically to sell into the Middle East, rather than as a UK retailer that later expanded abroad. Its catalogue now runs past 80,000 items from more than 400 brands, with over 100 new arrivals added most days. The label mix leans on UK and European high-street names such as Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing and Karen Millen, alongside international brands including adidas and Calvin Klein.

In March 2021, two Saudi companies, Alhokair Fashion Retail and Arabian Centres, acquired a 51% majority stake in the business. That deal shifted the platform's centre of gravity toward Saudi Arabia specifically, and the site now defaults to its Saudi storefront for a neutral visitor rather than a UK one, even though the company remains UK-registered on paper.

Pricing behaves like a cross-border importer rather than a local retailer. A flat 43 SAR shipping fee applies to every order regardless of size, since there is no threshold that waives it, and the company absorbs the cost of moving stock from the UK to the Gulf rather than passing it through as a rising fee. Returns run 14 days, but the shopper carries the cost of sending an item back, deducted from whatever refund follows.
