Jazeera Airways Offers

0 coupons

Kuwait's first private airline flew its opening service on 30 October 2005 and now works 57 destinations with 24 Airbus narrowbodies. It checks passengers in through Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport, which the airline itself built and opened in 2018. The fare is sold as a ladder of three rungs, so the cheapest search result is a seat with no hold baggage attached.

Price Outlook

+6%Savooh’s own estimate for this store over the next 12 months

At this pace, an item you put off for a year costs roughly 6% more, which is why a marked sale month beats waiting for prices to fall.

Jazeera prices most of its network like a commuter service: Gulf-hop fares swing with the day of the week, while long-haul leisure routes move with school terms and Eid. Fleet growth is measured, eight more Airbus on order against 24 flying today, so seat supply is unlikely to outrun demand. Expect headline fares to drift upward over the next year, with the real value sitting outside the two seasonal walls in February and summer rather than in a fare code.

Best time to buy

The weeks outside Kuwait's two travel walls are when Jazeera fares run lowest: avoid booking into the National and Liberation Day break in February or the summer school holiday, since both hard bookings out of Kuwait International Airport in the weeks before they land. September's post-summer shoulder season is the softest month on the calendar, and White Friday in late November is the one sitewide sale worth watching for a fare code rather than a bare search-page price.

Buyer Guide

How to get the most out of Jazeera Airways

Reviewed by the Savooh Deals Team

Jazeera Airways is the only carrier in the region that owns the terminal you check in at, and that single fact shapes more of the trip than the fare does.

1
Terminal 5 belongs to the airline, not to the airport authority
Jazeera opened its own terminal at Kuwait International Airport in 2018, the first built, owned and run by a private airline anywhere in the Middle East. It has 22 check-in desks and its own security lane, and the airline markets check-in to gate in ten minutes. Budget flying usually means a longer walk and a worse queue; here it does not.
2
Three fare rungs, and the cheapest one is a seat only
Bookings run through a Light, Value and Extra ladder. Light carries cabin baggage and nothing in the hold, so the number that wins the search page is rarely the number that gets your suitcase to Dubai. Price the rung you actually need before comparing against anyone.
3
The network is two businesses wearing one livery
Of the 57 destinations, one half is short Gulf hops flown by people who fly monthly and the other is South Asia and Europe flown by people who fly once or twice a year. Fares on the first behave like commuter pricing and move with the day of the week. Fares on the second move with school terms.

About Jazeera Airways : the full picture

Jazeera Airways was created by Emiri Decree in 2004 and flew its first service on 30 October 2005, making it the first private airline in Kuwait. Its 2004 share offer was oversubscribed twelve times against an initial capital of KD 10 million, and it still trades on Boursa Kuwait, with Boodai Group holding roughly a quarter of it.

The airline runs a single-type fleet of 24 Airbus narrowbodies with eight more on order, and serves 57 destinations reaching from the Gulf into South Asia and Europe. Where it broke from every other low-cost carrier was on the ground: in 2018 it opened Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport, built and operated by the airline itself, and it returned to flying direct from T5 on 26 April 2026 when the main airport reopened.

What that does to your money is subtle. A low-cost carrier normally saves on airport costs by pushing you to a remote pier and a long bus ride, and recovers the rest at the bag drop. Jazeera controls its own terminal instead, so the savings come from turnaround speed rather than from your comfort, and the fare ladder is where the recovery happens. Book the rung, not the headline.

Shopping Tips

Save smarter at Jazeera Airways.

Tactics our deal team uses every week to extract maximum value.

01
Read the rung, not the price
Light, Value and Extra are the same seat with different rights attached. A Light fare that wins the search page stops winning it the moment a suitcase goes in the hold, so compare at the rung you will actually fly.
02
Buy baggage in the booking flow
Hold allowance is cheapest while you are still on the payment page, dearer in the app afterwards, and dearest at the counter. Deciding in the terminal is the one version of this purchase with no discount attached to it.
03
Terminal 5 removes the usual budget-airline tax
Twenty-two check-in desks and a dedicated security lane mean the ground time here is short. That is worth real money on a Gulf day trip where a two-hour airport buffer is the difference between one working day and two.
04
Gulf routes and long routes price on different clocks
Dubai, Doha and Riyadh behave like commuter sectors and swing with the day of the week. Colombo, Kathmandu and the European leisure routes swing with school terms and Eid instead. Knowing which clock you are on tells you whether waiting is worth it.
05
February and the school break are the two walls
Kuwait empties around the National and Liberation Day holidays and again through the summer, and fares out of KWI harden weeks before either. Booking into that window with a code still costs more than booking outside it without one.
06
Track the route rather than the airline
Seat pricing here answers to load on a single sector, not to a promotional calendar. An alert on your route catches the dips a sitewide code never will.

How to use a code

Redeeming a code at Jazeera Airways.

Where the promo field actually sits in this checkout, and what silently voids a code here.

  1. 1
Pick the fare rung before you compare the price
Every search shows three levels stacked on the same seat: Light, Value and Extra. Light carries cabin baggage only, so pricing a hold bag and any seat selection into the total before booking is the only honest way to compare Jazeera against a rival's all-in fare.
  2. 2
Add checked baggage in the same booking flow
Hold allowance is cheapest on the booking screen itself, before payment, dearer if bought inside the app afterwards, and dearest at the Terminal 5 counter. Add it while booking so a promo code applied to the total covers the baggage too, not a bare seat fare.
  3. 3
A promo code moves the fare line, not the extras
Seat selection, meals and priority boarding are quoted and charged separately from the base fare on every rung. A discount code changes what the fare costs, not what the add-ons cost, so read the order summary line by line rather than assuming the whole total moved.
  4. 4
Book outside Kuwait's two holiday walls, not into them
Fares out of Kuwait International Airport harden in the weeks before the National and Liberation Day break in February and again ahead of the summer school holiday, since this is when the home market travels heaviest. A code applied inside that window rarely beats a fare booked outside it without one.
  5. 5
Budget the time Terminal 5 actually saves
Jazeera's own terminal runs 22 check-in desks and a dedicated security lane, and the airline advertises a ten-minute run from check-in to gate. That is real time back on a short Gulf hop, which matters more on the day than a fare code does.

Savooh Answers

What people ask about Jazeera Airways coupons

Q
Does Jazeera Airways have its own terminal in Kuwait?
Yes. It built and operates Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport, opened in 2018 and described as the first terminal owned, built and run by a private airline in the Middle East.
Q
What do the Light, Value and Extra fares include?
They are one seat sold with three levels of rights. Light is cabin baggage only, with nothing in the hold, while Value and Extra add checked allowance and more flexibility, so a Light quote is not comparable to a rival fare that already includes a bag.
Q
How big is Jazeera Airways?
It flies 24 Airbus narrowbodies to 57 destinations out of Kuwait, with eight further aircraft on order, and has traded on Boursa Kuwait since its 2004 share offer.

It was created by Emiri Decree in 2004 and operated its first commercial service on 30 October 2005, as the first private airline in Kuwait.

No. The lowest rung on its three-step fare ladder covers cabin baggage only, and hold allowance is added afterwards, which is why the total for a week away can land well above the fare shown in search.
