This policy explains what the Savooh website and the Savooh browser extension ("Savooh", "we") do with data. Savooh helps you find and apply coupon codes when you shop online. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data.
To know when it can help you, the extension reads the URL (web address) of your active tab and compares it against Savooh's list of supported stores, which it fetches from our servers. This matching happens for navigation events so the extension can show available coupons and, at checkout, fill a coupon code into the store's discount field when you choose to apply one.
Although the extension is technically permitted to run on any website, it only reads page content or injects a coupon code on pages that match a supported store. On all other sites it does nothing with the page.
When the extension is active on a supported store, it may send us anonymized usage events so we can measure which coupons work. These events contain:
We do not collect your name, email, address, payment details, passwords, form contents, or your browsing on non-supported sites.
Only to operate and improve the service: showing you relevant coupons, measuring coupon success rates, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage. We do not use it for advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent it.
The extension uses your browser's local/session storage to cache the supported-store list and remember which stores it has already notified you about in a tab. This stays on your device.
We share data only with infrastructure providers that host Savooh (for example our cloud database, cache, and CDN) strictly to run the service. When you click through to a store, that store's own privacy policy applies.
You can remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page, which stops all collection and clears its local storage.
Savooh is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
